On behalf of the board, I would like to announce a partnership that we have entered into with Moneris as our payment provider for credit, debit and pos solutions. Adam Crandall, our Finance Committee Lead, has been working diligently to deliver a new partnership that will benefit all members across the province. During the negotiation process, we were able to test the proposal against existing breweries’ rates and in each case, there were savings. An example of savings for a “Card present” and “Card not present” scenario over one year was more than $4,000.

For existing Moneris customers please contact your rep immediately to have your current rates adjusted to the new Guild program. Please reference chains: 700058243 & 600059849.

Please review the attached documents and contact the Moneris management team directly at this dedicated email: bccraftbrewersguild@moneris.com and a Moneris representative will contact you to sign up or adjust your current Moneris agreement to the Guild rates. Moneris has a team of 8 dedicated representatives in the Lower Mainland and the Island and 3 Senior managers, to help you in person to explain the program, help execute the sign-up forms and answer any questions you may have regarding the program. Out of town members will be responded to by telephone to execute the sign-up procedure.
*Please note that in order to be eligible for the Guild and Moneris program benefits as an existing customer or a new customer you are required to be a member in good standing in the Guild (this requires paying your 2021 fees). Based on savings we have seen in the test cases you will easily save more than your annual member fees by activating this partnership.
