Listen to Ken Beattie address hop shortages and craft beer growth

Earlier this month, our Executive Director Ken Beattie connected with Simi Sara at Vancouver’s CKNW News Talk to address growing challenges with the demand for hops and how BC’s craft beer community is trying more and more to work with local producers where possible.

Beattie mentions that over the next fiscal, BC can expect an estimated 14 new breweries to come on line – a sure sign that things aren’t slowing anytime soon for our sector.
