Hi Bill, I am currently watching the students at KPU write their final for our class so can’t call you but wanted to ask you if you have had pushback on this given the severe stock-out situation at the new warehouse. I have had some members express the irony of this request given the current warehouse situation.
Hi Ken, My request is for products that are not delayed by the warehouse. It is for real stock-outs attributed to things like no cans, maybe a delay because of brewing etc. Not because they can’t get an appointment or they are not getting purchase orders from the warehouse. I don’t expect many issues with the Craft guys.
As mentioned at the 2018 Trade Symposium, BC Liquor Stores are requesting that agents/suppliers notify the BCLS Merchandising Department regarding stock outs.
Starting December 3, 2018, agents/suppliers will be required to submit a product stock-out form if a listed product will be out of stock for more than five days.
Please find attached one spreadsheet for each category. Each spreadsheet includes instructions, category specific email addresses and a product stock-out form. All five spreadsheets will also be posted on the Vendor Facing Website under the Resources Tab.
