BC Craft Brewers Conference Seminar Spotlight
FOCUS: An overview of best practices, learnings and insights about how craft breweries can authentically create a social media presence that reflects their brand, people and products.
Josh Vanderheide: Josh is the Founder of Field House Brewing Co. He began his career working for National Advertising Agencies, then went on to co-found his own Brand & Marketing Agency in Gastown working with breweries, wineries and distillers on their marketing, packaging and brand identity – which eventually led him to opening Field House in Abbotsford.
Jorden Foss: Jorden is the co-owner and operator of Steel & Oak Brewing Co. He has a Broadcast and Media Communications degree from BCIT and before opening S&O he worked for 7 years in audio advertising. Jorden is married with two young sons which is why you don’t see a tonne of photos of Steel & Oak at night… cause he’s in bed.

Prior to heading the Marketing Department at Parallel 49, Marissa worked at Vice Media in Stockholm as a photographer and writer.

Steel & Oak Brewing BIO: Steel & Oak Brewing Co. opened it’s doors in New Westminster in 2014 after co-owners Jamie and Jorden realized there was nothing super fun to do in their hometown, especially after the old bowling alley was torn down. Located between an overpass, the Skytrain track, and a real train track, S&O is moderately inconvenient to get to but awesome once you actually sit down and have a beer in your hand. 1319 Third Ave., New Westminster.
