BC Beer Awards Wrap Up!

This past weekend marked a fantastic testament to the strength of BC’sCraft Beer community as the fourth annual BC Beer Awards were held in Vancouver at the Croatian Cultural Centre. Landing smack in the middle of what has already been a fantastic Craft Beer Month in BC, the awards gathered many of BC’s key brewers, drinkers and fans under one roof to celebrate the past year in British Columbia Craft Beer.

Below is a round up of the winners. We wish to offer sincere congratulations to all the winners, especially Vancouver Island Brewery, who’s Hermannator Ice Bock won Best In Show, an appropriate way to celebrate the 25th anniversary of that legendary seasonal.

Finally, a big thanks and congrats to the BC Beer Awards team; Saturday’s event ran exceptionally smooth, providing a lively environment for all attendees to meet, chat and thank members of our amazing community. And a big thanks to CBC for sending Stephen Quinn to host the festivities.
